Pennsylvania Electric Coil is the manufacture and remanufacture of high electric motor and turbines. Always striving to stay on the leading edge of technology, PA Coil introduced a new winding process. This new process had to be temperature and humidity controlled. IBS worked with PA Coil’s onsite production team to develop a new design for an enclosure that would meet and exceed the new winding process’s requirements. IBS used modular construction to enclose the new equipment and installed a temperature and humidity control system to bring the environment into compliance. The end result is the new winding equipment working as specified and PA Coil turning out quality product.

AllClad Expands – 2 Story Office

When you’re in a growing business it’s easy to run out of space for your employees. When AllClad, the premier pots and pans manufacture, went through a growth spurt they called Innovative Building Solutions. Adding numerous employees that needed visual and physical access to the manufacturing process we developed a plan to build adjacent to the manufacturing line. With the space allotted we were able to construct a modular two story building with enough offices for their current and future needs. IBS provided the building turn-key including electrical, fire suppression and HVAC services.

Amtrak – New Maintenance Shop

In situations where your interior space is maximized you can do what Amtrak did with their new maintenance building. IBS developed a plan to build their badly needed maintenance shop on a un-utilized area of land between the rail tracks. IBS designed the project from the foundation up and erected a pre-engineered metal building to house the expanding department. The metal building was extremely cost effective and quick compared to the conventional construction methods.
